Training for a career as a high level golf teaching professional

 

  • The graduate will also hold membership of The AustralianĀ  Golf Teachers Federation
  • Costs A$ 28,000 per year for 2 years (inclusive of all green fees).
  • Completed year 12 andĀ  English IELTS level 5.5 or equivalent.
  • To graduate must achieve handicap of 4 (males) or 7 (females).

 

The Diploma of Sport Coaching ( Golf ), conducted in conjunction with Hays International College, is a two-year (4 semester), full-time course covering all aspects of golf at the professional level. Designed for students who wish to pursue a career in professional golf,

 

The psychological, theoretical, physiological, and practical playing skills of golf are covered in depth. A strong emphasis is placed on students acquiring superior playing skills, together with the tactics, strategy and knowledge required to become a qualified and successful tournament professional or teaching professional. Upon entry to this course, students will acquire an official Australian Golf Union handicap, and graduating students will be awarded this internationally recognised Australian qualification.

The course is open to students who have;

 

  • Completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent ,OR
  • completed Certificate III in Sport (Career Oriented Participation).
  • International students must satisfy Government and course English requirements.

    A student visa is required for this course. (Australian and New Zealand residents are exempt)

  • Golf Club membership with access to the golf course every day.
