The newly created World Golf Teachers Tour was formed to give WGTF members a chance to compete against their peers from around the world. This tour was formed also with the idea of giving WGTF members the opportunity to meet with international teaching professionals as well as visiting different countries and cultures.

The Australian GTF Cup - Australasian GTF Cup will be held on October 19-25, 2008 at the Saujana Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Australian GTF Cup will be held in conjunction with the inaugural AUSTRALASIAN GOLF TEACHERS CUP.
This facility will be ideal for the event with the accommodation surrounded by two championship courses
